NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
Your first consultation with Dr Liddell will take place at the Perth Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Centre consulting rooms in West Perth. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete the new patient health questionnaire.
For your appointment, be sure to bring:
- A referral from your GP, specialist, or physiotherapist
- Medicare card, DVA card, or Private Medical Insurance details
- Any relevant reports, X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans
- A list of current medications
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the affected area.
Dr Liddell will perform a comprehensive examination during your consultation and provide personalised treatment options based on a detailed assessment of your condition.
RETURNING PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
For your follow-up appointment(s) bring with you:
- Any new referrals: a new referral may be required if your previous one has expired
- Updated medical records, and a current list of medications: Dr Liddell will review your progress, conduct any necessary examinations, and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

INTERSTATE, AND TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS
Dr Liddell offers flexible options for patients who are located outside the Perth metro region or require remote consultations. If you’re traveling from interstate, we can help coordinate your appointments to fit your schedule and make your visit as smooth as possible. For those unable to attend in person, Dr Liddell provides telehealth consultations, allowing you to receive expert advice and care from the comfort of your home.
During your telehealth appointment, he will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and develop a personalised treatment plan, just as if you were in the clinic.
For telehealth appointments, you’ll need:
- A computer, smartphone, or tablet with a reliable internet connection and webcam/microphone
- Access to Skype or Zoom (setup instructions provided)
Consultation Fees and Billing Information
Face-to-face consultations attract a fee, with a portion reimbursed by Medicare when you have a valid referral. Our team can lodge your claim on the spot, so the rebate is deposited directly into your nominated bank account.
Dr Liddell’s consultation fees:
- New patient consultations $300
- Review patient consultations $170
Dr Liddell offers reduced fees for pensioners and healthcare card holders, ensuring high-quality care is accessible to everyone.
- Hyaluronic Acid (Cingal) Injections $600.00 (No Medicare rebate)
Paying for Surgery Without Private Health Insurance:
If you don’t have private health insurance, you may choose to self-fund your surgery. During your consultation, Dr Liddell will explain the available options and provide a detailed breakdown of the associated costs. This ensures you have all the information you need to make a confident and informed decision about your care.
